ABOUT THE JOB

Helping Hands Commercial Cleaning is looking for a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to lead our commercial cleaning division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest quality of service and client satisfaction. You'll collaborate with the leadership team to create and implement strategies that enhance our operational processes and support the company’s growth objectives. This role demands a flexible schedule and occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Direct all levels of operational activities across the organization.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize service delivery and boost profitability. - Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices. - Continuously monitor and assess performance metrics to identify areas for operational improvements.

Team Leadership

- Lead teams ensuring effective cleaning operations and positive client interactions. - Conduct performance reviews, set clear goals, and offer ongoing guidance and support to your team.

- Oversee the compliance with our established Training Programs.

- Provide support in onboarding and assist in launching new client accounts. - Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.

Quality Assurance

- Ensure consistent high-quality service through routine inspections and audits. - Propose initiatives to drive continuous improvement in quality and service standards.

Strategic Development

- Work with the leadership team to design and implement long-term strategic plans. - Identify market trends and opportunities to expand our service offerings. - Manage and oversee operational budgets to ensure resource allocation is efficient and cost-effective.

Client Relations

- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

- Conduct site visits to ensure our service meets client expectations.

- Focus on client retention, and explore opportunities for upselling or adding value to existing accounts.

- Review and renegotiate service agreements to maintain profitability.

Process Improvement

- Regularly assess and enhance operational processes for greater efficiency and productivity. - Introduce and manage technology solutions that streamline operations and improve service outcomes.

- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Supply management

- Order supplies and equipment

- Manager supply stock at accounts

- Manage consumable products for clients

Health and Safety

- Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations.

- Foster a culture of safety throughout the organization.

- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments routinely.

- Ensure all accounts comply with safety training as per contractual obligations.

Reporting and Analytics

- Prepare and present detailed operational reports to the team.

- Analyze variance reports to ensure all work outside regular hours is properly billed. - Oversee project management for client accounts to ensure all client expectations are met. - Collaborate with the AR department to manage account hours and ensure timely communication of any rate adjustments.

- Proactively identify and mitigate any operational risks.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in computers, especially in Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate formulas, tables, and data & using AI to improve efficiency.

- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

- Experience in customer service and managing client relationships.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

- Flexible schedule

- Be able to travel

- Min 2 year experience in the janitorial industry.
